Intimate cleanser for sensitive skin
Intimate area needs an extra gentle cleansing. Eucerin Intim Protect is formulated with Lactic Acid, which is also naturally present in the intimate area. It maintains the natural vaginal microflora, while helping to soothe irritation. The formula contains Bisabolol known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Clinical, dermatological and gynecological studies
Studies prove that the product is well tolerated by both the mucus membrane.
Main Findings
In addition to other clinical and dermatological studies, a Product-in-Use (PiU) study was conducted with 32 women aged between 25 and 67 and all with sensitive skin in the intimate area.1 They used the product twice daily and reported the following results after four weeks of use:

What are surfactants, and which ones does Eucerin use?
Surfactants are active cleansing agents, sometimes also called active surface or active interface substances. They are organic compounds that influence molecular adhesion and reduce surface tension. When used in skin cleansers they make it easier to remove dirt particles from skin’s surface.
Comprehensive clinical and dermatological studies prove that the extra-mild surfactants used in Eucerin cleansing products – which include Sodium Myreth Sulfate and Lauryl Glucoside – have excellent skin compatibility. -
How can I be sure your products are safe for my sensitive skin?
All Eucerin cleansing products have been specially formulated to combine gentle cleansing with excellent skin protection and clinically-proven skin tolerability.
Before applying a new product to your intimate area, test it first by applying it repeatedly to the skin on the inside of your elbow. If there’s no reaction (e.g. redness, swelling or itching) then it’s safe to assume the product is compatible with your skin.
