Eucerin Q10 ACTIVE Day Cream for dry skin is specifically formulated with cell-energising Coenzyme Q10, a naturally occurring substance in skin that depletes over time, to counteract the signs of ageing such as wrinkles on sensitive skin*.
Added antioxidants Vitamins C, E and H (Biotin) nourish dry skin and reduce inflammation, so skin is better protected against free-radical attack.
Formulated without fragrance, artificial colour or alcohol for dry, sensitive skin that’s easily irritated. With regular use skin appears smoother and firmer.
Without parabens and artificial colourants to provide good skin tolerability.

Clinical Studies

To test its effects on skin, Coenzyme Q10 was applied topically to skin twice a day for a specified time period (one week to six months home use). Wrinkle depth and oxidative stress were measured in vivo.

Another group of 21 volunteers took part in a single-blinded, dermatologically controlled study to assess the effects of Eucerin Q10 ACTIVE Day Cream for dry skin applied twice-daily for four weeks.

How to use

Instructions

First time users are recommended to apply the product on the inner forearm and assess skin condition for at least a day before applying it to the face.

Use in the morning on well cleansed skin.
Apply to face, neck and décolleté (chest).
Gently massage the product into skin
Follow with Eucerin Q10 ACTIVE Eye Cream.
Wait five to ten minutes before applying make-up.

The light yellow colouris due to the natural colour of the ingredients, Q10 ACTIVE does not contain any colourants.

Using th eproduct for the first time please read the enclosed leaflet. Avoid contact with the eyes.

For your daily routine

Cleanse skin using Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Mild Cleansing to soothe and prepare skin to better absorb the cell-energising active ingredients.

Then tone using Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Clarifying Toner.

Apply Eucerin Q10 ACTIVE Day Cream for dry skin onto the face, neck and décolleté (chest), working the product into skin using gentle upwards motions.

Layer Eucerin Q10 ACTIVE Eye Cream underneath and around the delicate eye area to hydrate skin and discourage the formation of future lines and wrinkles, avoiding direct eye contact.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is a substance found naturally in the body that helps cells convert nutrients into energy. In skin it works to re-energise cells, "recharging" their regenerative potential to make them stronger and function more efficiently.

It also has potent antioxidant qualities, which give it the ability to neutralise cell damaging free-radicals caused by the external environmental factors, like UV and pollution, that contribute to collagen and elastin breakdown.

As we age, Coenzyme Q10 levels decrease so cells become less able to regenerate and defend themselves naturally. As a result skin ages prematurely and becomes more prone to lines and wrinkles.

Biotin (Vitamin B7)

Biotin (also known as Vitamin B7) is a water-soluble vitamin that strengthens skin, nails and hair. Biotin activates skin’s own production of lipids (fat), which helps it to return to its natural, healthy looking condition and act as a protective barrier against the outside world.

Mitochondria (also known as the ”powerhouse“ of a cell) produce energy by continuously converting nutrients and oxygen into ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Due to the ageing process, the amount of free radicals increases leading to incremental damages in the mitochondria.

Antioxidant Coenzyme Q10 combines with Vitamins C, E and H (Biotin) to slow and counteract the free-radical damage responsible for premature ageing.
The cell-energising qualities of Coenzyme Q10 improve the cellular renewal, reducing wrinkles in depth, while antioxidant properties protect against the formation of new lines.
